Verbandspokal
The Verbandspokal (English: Federation Cup) was a tournament contested in Austria in the 1936-37 and 1937-38 seasons. It served as the successor to the Josef Albrecht Verbandspreis.
The competition consisted of the same four teams that participated in the Austrian State Championship in both 1937 and 1938. Each team had to play against one another twice. After three wins, the cup was to be earned permanently.
The games the Vienna teams played against each other in the Vienna Championship (Liga) carried over to the Verbandspokal. The contests between the Provincial and Vienna clubs from the State Championship were also allowed to be included as a result of the Verbandspokal. There was only one game that counted at the same time for the State Championship and the Verbandspokal.
The cup was not contested again after the German Anschluss of Austria in March 1938. Thus, no team had the opportunity to claim it for good.
