The 1977-78 Serie C season was the 13th recorded edition of the third-level Italian competition. HC Rencio Bolzano won the championship.

Draghi Torino (A), Auronzo (C), Camporovere (D), Settequerce (E), and Rencio Bolzano (F) also advanced to final round. HC Torino finished second in Group A.

Won by Rencio Bolzano. Draghi Torino and Camporovere also participated.

Auronzo Group

Won by Auronzo. Pinguini Milano and Settequerce also participated.
