Coppa di Lega
The Coppa di Lega was a trophy awarded to the top regular season team in the Elite. A and the Serie A2.
Format
The cup was first awarded in the 2011-12 season, to the first place team in the Serie A at the end of the regular season; while in the Serie A2 after best-of-three series between the top two teams. However, the trophy was not awarded in the Serie A the following year, though it was still competed for in the Serie A2.
The Serie A2 clubs joined the Inter-National League for the 2013-14 season, and as a result the trophy was no longer be awarded to the teams in that classification. In 2014, following the reform of the championships, it was returned to be assigned in the Elite. A, but this time only at the completion of a mini-tournament (first round was part of the playoffs) between the top four regular season finishers.
It was not awarded in 2015.
