The Walter Alexander Trophy was a Scottish minor tournament. It was a Paisley-based competition in 1940. The Alexander Trophy was contested as a seven game series between the Falkirk Lions and Dunfermline Vikings in 1949-50. These are the known results from the competition: 10/28/49: Falkirk - Dunfermline 5:3, 12/1?/49: Dunfermline - Falkirk 6:2, 12/23/49: Falkirk - Dunfermline 6:5, Falkirk - Dunfermline 9:5
