1965-66 Promozione season

The 1965-66 Promozione season was the first recorded edition of the third-level Italian competition. CS Auronzo di Cadore won the championship.

First round

Group A

1. HC Valpellice, 2. Ambrosiano Milano. Other participants: HC Cervino, HC Piémont (Torino B).

Group B

1. Latemar Cazlese. Other participants: HC Col Rondella, HC Canazei, HC Vajolet.

Group C

1. CS Auronzo di Cadore. Other participants: HC Pieve di Cadore, Amatori HC Agordo.

Group D

1. HC Asigo. Other participants: Ritten Sport, HC Vipiteno.

• CS Auronzo di Cadore - Latemar Cavalese 7:5

3rd place game

• HC Valpellice - Latemar Cavalese 7:5 (2:0, 2:3, 3:2)

Final

• CS Auronzo di Cadore - HC Asiago 8:6 OT

Auronzo di Cadore was promoted to the Serie B.
