Hircsak later spent time with the MTK (1946-1949), Textiles (1949-1950), Voros Lobogo (1950-1951), Postas (1951-1954), and Ujpesti Dozsa (1955-1958) clubs. He only retired in 1958, at the age of 43.

At the 1936 Summer Olympic Games he was a member of the Hungarian field hockey team which was eliminated in the group stage of the Olympic tournament. He played all three matches as a goalkeeper.
