The first Luxembourg Cup was played in Beaufort from December 26-28, 1969.
1970-71

The second Luxembourg Cup was played in Beaufort on January 2-3, 1971. It was won by HC Zweibrucken.[1]

HC Beaufort joined Belgian Division II, the third level league in the country, for 1971-72. They captured the league championship.

The third Luxembourg Cup was played in Beaufort on February 20, 1972. Olympia Antwerpen won. In the morning, the three teams played a blitz tournament (the games consisting of a single 20 minute period), with the top two meeting in a full-length final in the afternoon.[15]
