This page details ice hockey activities in Korea between 1927 and 1940:

Note: Keijo Imperial University and Kyungsung University were the same school. The names were used interchangeably.

1927-28

"東大遠變征更(동대원변정갱)", The Dong-a Ilbo, 1927-12-17. (ko) 
Tokyo Imperial University ice hockey team have a match against Andong (a province in Manchukuo, Northeast China. Not to be confused with Andong, Korea) ice hockey team on 24 December, 1927. The match will be held in Amnok River.
Before and after the game, Tokyo Imperial University ice hockey team will pass through Korea.

“It is reported that a Keijo Ice Hockey League has recently come into existence with the Railway Bureau, Keijo Imperial University, the Prepatory School of Keijo Imperial University, Keijo Normal School and Keijo Technological School entered as members. It is expected that an ice hockey league tournament will take place some time in the middle of January.”[1]
