Harry Wesley Jakeman (October 1, 1885, in Halifax, Nova Scotia – December 22, 1946, in Mashpee, Massachusetts) was a Canadian-American ice hockey player.

Biography

Jakeman was born in Nova Scotia and later studied in New Brunswick. He relocated to Germany to study medicine around 1909.

While residing in Germany, Jakeman played club hockey for Berliner Schlittschuhclub. Internationally, he was a member of the German National Team at the European Championships in 1910 and 1911.

Jakeman eventually moved to Boston, where he practiced as a vet. He became an American citizen in 1927.

He is a member of the German Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.
