The Butte Bombers were a semi-professional team in Butte, Montana, that was founded by the famous daredevil Bob "Evel" Knievel, who served as a player-manager, in 1958.
Knievel founded the team in order to have team to play with since he thought he wasn't good enough to play semi pro with teams in the eastern United States.
Somehow he convinced Czechoslovakia to play the Bombers on their 1959-60 tour. It was a blowout.
