Manchester is a city of about 550,000 people in North West England. A team known simply as Manchester (also called Lancashire from 1910-1912) was formed at the Manchester Ice Palace in 1910. They played in the English League from 1931-1936. The club returned in the fall of 1938 and played friendly games.
