Johann Lichnovsky (unknown in Opava, Austria-Hungary – unknown) was a Czechoslovak ice hockey player.
Biography
Lichnovsky enjoyed a long club career with Troppauer EV Opava. His playing days were almost cut short in 1929 after a collision with Jaroslav Pusbauer left him with a severe arm injury.
He underwent an unsuccessful procedure in Vienna, and was required to take the entire 1929-30 season off as he recovered.
For the Czechoslovak National Team, Lichnovsky made appearances at the 1928 Winter Olympics and the 1929 European Championships.
