The New England Hockey League was an amateur league that operated in the states of Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire United States from 1925-1928.
in February 1928, the Berlin Mountaineers left the league because of financial problems and a poor record. Many of its players had left the team. The Lewiston St. Doms were suspended soon afterward. Waterville and Nashua then played for the title. The league did not return for 1928-29.
