On December 23, 1901, it was reported that the Port Arthur hockey club held a meeting and elected the following officers: Patron, James Coninee, M.P.P; patroness, Mrs. David Mills; honorary president, J.G. King; honorary vice-president, G.O.P. Clavet; 1st vice-president, J.W. Armstrong; 2nd vice-president, Geo. Hodder; captain Harry Bowell; secretary A.E. Roberts; treasurer, D. McGillis. Executive composed of Chas. Wink, T. Willeinson, non-players, and O. Martin, J. Saunderson and Harry Lawrence, players.[1]
