Playing Career 1926 – 1941

Herbert Klang was an Austrian hockey player who was a member of the Austrian National Team at the 1928 Winter Olympics and the 1929 European Championship.

He was hit with a 10-month suspension from the national team following the 1928 Olympics. Klang was said to have "disgraced and tarnished" the Austrians with his actions. He later returned to play in the 1929 EC.

At the club level, Klang spent most of his career with Wiener EV and EK Engelmann Wien, but also played abroad in multiple countries.
