Ashcroft formed a club this winter, and received an invitation to play Revelstoke, but no games were played between the towns. Moyie also had an active club.

Nelson, Kaslo, Silverton and Rossland traveled to Sandon to compete in a "Mid-Winter" carnival, for the "Championship of the Kootenays".

  • Nelson Seniors - Rossland Victorias 5:4
  • Sandon Seniors - Rossland Victorias 4:2
  • Kaslo - Silverton 6:2

Nelson left before they could play Sandon. The winner was not formally announced, but Sandon claimed the Mackinaw coats

There was also a junior game played at the carnival.

  • Rossland Columbias - Sandon Juniors 8:5 (or 7:6)

Apparently these two teams had met three times over the previous three years, with Sandon winning every game.
