1949–50 Yugoslav Ice Hockey League season
The 1949-50 Yugoslav Ice Hockey League season was intended to be the ninth season of the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League, the top level of ice hockey in Yugoslavia.
Croatian Championship
Mladost Zagreb won the Croatian Championship.

1. Kladivar Celje, 2. Razlag Brezice, 3. Polet Maribor, 4. Zelznicar Maribor (forfeited).
The top two teams from each group advanced to the final round.

With 10 minutes remaining in the decisive match between Ljubljana and Jesenice, Ljubljana went ahead 4-3 on a penalty shot. The Jesenice players left the ice in protest, and the match was awarded to Ljubljana by the forfeit score of 6-0.
Yugoslav Championship
The national championship was postponed from January to February as the weather was mild, leading to bad ice on the Šalata ice rink in Zagreb. Conditions remained unfavorable, so the championship was not played in 1950.
