This was the 1919-20 season in Czechoslovakia:

Czech Hockey Union Championship

It was intended for the Czech Hockey Union Championship to be played for the second consecutive season. It was originally planned to be held on January 17 and 18, but was then rescheduled for January 24 and 25 at AC Sparta Praha's Letna field, which was made available for free.

The tournament was not played in the end.

Other games

There was a game scheduled for January 11 between Troppauer EV and Deutscher Sportverein Troppau. The rosters were as follows: TEV - Alt I, Fronius, Böhm - Hoppe II - Dorasil, Czernoch - Troger I. DSV - Strack, Dluhy, Neumeyer III - Neumeyer II - Bürgel, Grötschel - Niedermayer.

Players gathered in Strbske Pleso in late February to allow for the selection of the Czechoslovak National Team for the 1920 Olympic hockey tournament. There were games played between A and B teams on February 28 and 29. The A team won both, 7-2 (or 7-0, sources differ) and 5-2.

The following players wound up representing Czechoslovakia at the Olympic tournament: Karel Hartmann, Vilém Loos, Jan Palous, Jan Peka, Karel Pesek-Kada, Josef Sroubek, Otakar Vindys, and Karel Walzer.
