The New Ontario Hockey League was a professional league that existed from 1907-1912.

It was contested in the Thunder Bay region of Ontario. Port Arthur Lake City earned the right to challenge for the Stanley Cup after winning the NOHL in 1910-11 and defeating the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan Professional Hockey League 12-6 in a qualifying series. Port Arthur then fell to Ottawa HC, who retained the cup.

Port Arthur defeated the Saskatoon Wholesalers 12-6 in a Stanley Cup elimination series in 1912, but declined an invitation to play for the championship.
