Playing Career 1930 – 1947

Stefan Tomovici (born July 11, 1913) was a Romanian hockey player. He played a total of 10 games for the Romanian National Team at the World Championships in 1938 and 1947. He also played for Romania at the 1941 International Week of Winter Sports.

Tomovici was a member of Dragos Voda Cernauti from 1930-1938. He later played for Venus Bucharest from 1938-1946 and HC Ciocanul Bucharest in 1946-47.

After his playing career ended, Tomovici went into coaching, starting with Steagul Rosu Brasov in 1953. He later coached in Galati.

The "Memorialul Stefan Tomovici" has been played in his honor in Suceava since 2008.
