BSG Crimmitschau was an ice hockey team in Crimmitschau, East Germany.

History

They first played in the 1950 DDR Winter Sports Hockey Championship as BSG Textil Crimmitschau. They finished in fourth place overall, first in the relegation round.

The following year, the club played in the DDR-Oberliga as BSG Textil Pleißengrund Crimmitschau. They finished in third place in the league. The club retained their spot in the league, competing as BSG Fortschritt Crimmitschau in 1951-52 and BSG Turbine Crimmitschau from 1953-1955. After which, they were relegated to the East German 1. Liga.

They played in the 1. Liga from 1955-1959. The club was briefly known as BSG Turbine Erfurt for the 1956-57 season, but spent the remainder of their time in the league as Turbine Crimmitschau.

The club was replaced by ASK Vorwärts Crimmitschau for the 1959-60 season.
