Danish Division 2 is the third level of ice hockey in Denmark, below the Hockeyligaen and the Danish Division 1.
It is a regional league composed of East and West divisions that is entirely recreational and offers no opportunities for promotion to the second-tier Division 1.
The league is a common landing spot for older players who have retired from the higher-level leagues. One notable team in the league is KSF Copenhagen, a club which enjoyed great success in the top-level league during the 1960s and 1970s. Aside from them, the league is mostly comprised of lower-level teams that exist within hockey club's that also provide higher-level squads.
