The 2006-07 Turkish Ice Hockey First League season was contested by five teams and won by Istanbul TED Kolej.

After the first round, the federation allowed a sixth team, Izmit Sirintepe SK, to join for the second phase. Their joining in the middle of the season angered the other clubs, especially as Sirintepe was poised to finish fourth and reach the playoffs. The federation then barred them from participating, and it is the turn of this club to file an appeal.
