The 1978 Paris Championship was a tournament contested by teams around the city of Paris between September 9 and 24, 1978. It served as a pre-season tournament.

It was won by Viry-Châtillon Essonne Hockey. Français Volants was forced to forfeit four of their five games due to problems with their ice rink. ASG Tours was short eight players, who had military commitments at the time.
