1930 German Ice Hockey Championship
The 1930 German Ice Hockey Championship was the 14th season of the German Ice Hockey Championship, the national championship of Germany. Berliner Schlittschuhclub won the championship by defeating SC Brandenburg Berlin in the final.
It was contested from January 11-13, 1930, at the Berliner Sportpalast in Berlin.
Teams from the following associations were eligible to participate in the championship: Brandenburger Eissportverband, Norddeutscher ESV (the Nordeutscher ESV was renamed the Brandenburger Eissportverband and the Nordwestdeutschen Eissportverband was renamed the Norddeutscher ESV on April 29, 1929), Niederschlesischer ESV, Oberschlesischer ESV, Landesverband Ostdeutschland, Gauverband Sachsen-Thuringen, Sudwestdeutscher ESV, and the Bayerischer ESV. There were also three independent teams not affiliated to any association - Leipziger SC, Schierker SV, and Tiroler Landes-Eisschiess-Verband.
Northern Championship (Brandenburg)
The championship was not completed due to weather conditions, so a single-elimination tournament was arranged to decide the champion.
