GKS Katowice is an ice hockey team in Katowice, Poland. They play in the top-level Polska Liga Hokejowa.
History
The team was founded in 1920 as an independent association known as Gornik Katowice. It merged with the GKS Katowice sports club in 1964 and took on its name.
Katowice won six Polska Liga Hokejowa titles between 1958 and 1970.
