Overview
Two Polish brothers, Stanislaw and Michal Antuszewicz, played ice hockey for the Russian Merchant Club in Harbin, the latter, dubbed the "King of Ice", captaining the team.[1] Harbin defeated Xinjing (now Changchun) 6-1 to win the Manchurian Ice Hockey Championship, which was part of the Manchurian Winter Olympics, with the brothers scoring 5 goals between them.[1]
Dating back to 1932, Michal Antuszewicz had also played for the local Russian clubs "Депо" (Depo) and "Новое Спортивное Общество" (New Sports Society) in Harbin.[2]
