The 1926 Nordic Games was the second edition (and the last, of the entire event) to feature ice hockey as part of its program. Djurgårdens IF, which had won the Swedish Championship was named champion of the Games.

They also took part in two games against the Polish national team, tying the first 3-3 and winning the second 6-1.
