This was the 1970-71 Austrian Oberliga season. 11 teams participated in the league, and WAT Stadlau won the championship.

Eastern group

  1. WAT Stadlau
  2. SV Leoben
  3. Kapfenberger SV
  4. ASKÖ Wien
  5. Kremser EV

Western group

  1. EC Innbruck-Pradl
  2. EC VSV
  3. Rankweil

Additional participants: HC Salzburg, Skiclub Badgastein, and Zirl. The order of finish of these teams is unknown.
