Hockey Club Choletais (abbreviated to HCC) is a French ice hockey club. At first the team was named Cholet's Dogs. The club is based in Cholet in Maine-et-Loire, playing at the second national level (Division 1) since the 2013-2014 season.

History

The club was founded in 1977 within the Association Jeune France de Cholet. In 1992, the club gained its autonomy. Initially moving to Division 3 for their first season in 1992–93, they joined the 2nd Division at the end of the 1993–94 season after finishing second in D3. The 1996-97 season allowed them to reach the 1st division after their winning the title of French Champion D2. However, at the end of the 2000-01 season, the Dogs were relegated to 2nd Division. After coming close several times in qualification for D1, the Dogs won the D2 championship in 2012-13, and were promoted to D1.
