The Swedish Football Association (Swedish: Svenska Fotbollförbundet) is the governing organization for soccer in Sweden. It was founded on 18 December 1904 as the bandy and soccer section board of the Swedish Ballgame Association, before becoming an independent organization following the dissolution of the Swedish Ballgame Association in March 1906.[1][2]
Prior to the establishment of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association in November 1922, the Swedish Football Association also organized ice hockey in Sweden.
