Tiebreaker

After Stade Français defeated Streatham 4-3 in the second contest between the two teams (thus leveling their head-to-head record), the decisive qualifier was set to be the Streatham - HC Milano match. The English side needed a 3-0 win to qualify for the final round. They then offered Stade Francais the opportunity to replay their prior two matches, so as to decide who qualified head-to-head, rather than against another opponent. The French accepted this offer, and while Streatham only defeated HC Milano 3-1, they were required to honor the previous agreement.
