The Bristol Coliseum opened in Bristol, England, on November 22, 1934, but no ice hockey was played there until the 1937. The Bristol Bears and later the Bristol Bombers, who played challenge matches, called the rink home. It was destroyed in an enemy air raid in November 1940.[1]
