Standings credited Chatham with a February 9 win over Campbellton, which the latter team protested. They do not include the Fredericton-Chatham game of January 26, which was ordered replayed.
On March 25, it was announced that Chatham would be deprived of the championship for disregarding rulings, and that the Chestnut Trophy, given to the league champions, would not be awarded this year.
