The 1939-40 Scottish National League season was the 11th season of the Scottish National League, the top level of ice hockey in Scotland. It was the final season contested before a six year interruption due to World War II.

Six teams participated in the league, and the Perth Panthers won the Points Competition while the Fife Flyers won the league championship. [1]
