HK Riga 2000 was an ice hockey team situated in Riga, Latvia. The club was founded in 2000 and played in the Latvian Hockey League from 2000-2009 and also made three appearances in the Belarusian Extraliga between 2004 and 2009.
Riga 2000 won the Latvian Hockey League on four occasions, those titles coming in 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2006. They also made several appearances in the IIHF Continental Cup, finishing as runners-up in 2006 and 2008.
Due to financial problems, the club disbanded in the summer of 2009. Many former plays joined Dinamo-Juniors Riga, the farm club of the KHL squad Dinamo Riga, whom Riga 2000 had been in cooperation with since 2008.
