The Akron Stars were an amateur ice hockey team based in Akron, Ohio. They were formed in 1946 and spent the 1946-47 and 1947-48 seasons in the Ohio State Hockey League. The Stars played on-and-off until 1962. The team was later known as the Akron Mercurys.
