The '''Esbjerg Energy''' are a Danish ice hockey team located in the Western part of Jutland in the city of Esbjerg, [[Denmark]]. They play in the [[AL-Bank Ligaen]],  Denmark's premier ice hockey league.


Until 2005 the team played under the name of E.I.K. ([[Esbjerg IK|Esbjerg Ishockey Klub]]), but due to financial instability at the club, the professional license was transferred to Esbjerg fB which is a Danish football team currently playing in the Danish Superliga which is the top football league in [[Denmark]].

In 2013 Esbjerg fB ended its commitment to hockey and sold the elite department to a new investor, who renamed the team the Esbjerg Energy.
