The 1986-87 FFHG Division 3 season was the inaugural season of the FFHG Division 3, the fourth level of ice hockey in France.
The league was divided into multiple regional groups with the top teams qualifying for the final tournament. Grenoble II emerged from the tournament as the league's champion.
