The 1915 Gordon Cup was for the Northern Ontario Championship. Sudbury refused to face Cobalt in a sudden-death game for the cup in protest of Frank McCarthy being on the Cobalt roster.[1] The match was eventually played, with Sudbury wresting the cup from Cobalt by a score of 2-1.
