Game report: Excerpt from IHW 1951/52: "Sam M'Innes, boss of the Mohawk crew, saw the game and said: 'We should win the final-they're not so hot.'

Sam dropped his musket there! Bunny Welsh scored two first period goals in the final and the Wembley team never looked back. Crawford reduced their lead but then Johnny Murrey and Bobby Thompson notched a couple more. Crawford completed a fine hat-trick in the last session but to no avail as Ravencroft, Barnes and Poirier all scored for Terriers."
