The Chinese Winter Spartakide was founded in 1935 as sort of the Olympic Games of China. They were part of the 19th North China Games Ice Show in Beijing.
Ice hockey was first played at the 1935 event, which was the first known ice hockey tournament in China. Only two teams participated, representing Hebei and Beijing. Hebei won the game 7-0 to claim the championship.[1]
