BBTE Budapest arranged a meeting to discuss the establishment of a Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation on February 5. Up to this point, BKE Budapest had served as the highest authority in Hungarian ice hockey, but BBTE sought the formation of an official governing body. BKE was not present at the meeting as their representatives, Dr. Lator and Frigyes Minder, were abroad in Italy. The BBTE officials present were Dr. Modoványi (co-chairman), László Szánthó (vice-president), and István Tatár (secretary general). Delegates present from other associations were József Neuhold (BLKE), Antal Tolnay, József Nobel (AHC), Ferenc Laubal and Ferenc Wachsmann (EHC), Ferenc Enyedy (MAFC), and Béla Holtzer and Fischer (FTC). MUE was also invited to the meeting.

The ice-hockey begins to enter the MOKS
===1958===
The first step: a three-member delegation will begin negotiations with the chair of the skating association
10 teams were divided into two groups of play. Group I: Czuwaj Przemyśl, Krośnianka Krosno, Sanoczanka Sanok, Stal Rzeszów, Stal Stalowa Wola, Group II: Gornik Gorlice, JKS Jarosław, Legia Krosno, Resovia, Stal Mielec. In the end, only eight teams competed as Stal Mielec withdrew and Stal Stalowa Wola was removed as they did not pay their entry fee to the PZHL. Later, Gornik Gorlice was also not included.

The action that, at the initiative of the BBTE, the ice-hockey associations engaged in federal control of ice-hockey games, made a significant step forward yesterday. The associations concerned decided to begin negotiations on the federal leadership of ice-hockey sport on MOKS by Dr. Rezső Rezső, the chair of the skating association.
Due to weather conditions, the season was not completed, and Resovia (the Group II champion) was deemed the best team and selected to represent the district in the promotion round to the Polish 2. Liga
The following associations sent their representatives to the BBTE Chamber of Deputies for yesterday's meeting: BKE: Géza Lator dr. And Frigyes Minder, FTC: Béla Mai- linger and Béla Holtzer, BLKE: József Neuhold, AHC:
Antal Tolnay, József Nobel, MAFC: Enyedy Ferenc, EHC:
Ferenc Laubal and finally the hostess BBTE: István Moldoványi, dr., 'Vitéz Szánthó László and her. Heinrích Antal dr.
Dr. Moldoványi, co-chair of the BBTE, who convened the meeting, presented the first meeting, for which Gáza Lator, dr. And spoke to him on behalf of his association, announcing that a
He sees it as a solution through MOKS. Similarly, Béla Mailinger said on behalf of the FTC. Moldoványi dr. He then suggested that the meeting should trust three publishers to come into contact with Dr. Rezső Rezső, President of MOKS and discuss the pending issues with him. The meeting was unanimously determined. The members of the delegation are: Dr. Gáza Lator, BKE, Béla Mailinger FTC and István Moldoványi dr. UBB.
The meeting was, however, completely smooth. The joint ventures paid the most attention to the special situation of BKE in the ice sports and BKE appreciated the federal movement aimed at further developing the Hungarian ice-hockey game with total loyalty. We are happy to record this goodwill on both sides, since it is a real interest in ice-hockey sport (Federal action, other than mutual understanding and sincere benevolence, can not produce real results.

— Saját  tudósítónktól —
Az az  akció,   amelyet  a BBTE kezdeményezésére    a  jéghokkival foglalkozó  egyesületek  a  jéghokki- játéknak  szövetségi  irányítás  alá vonása  érdekében  folytatnak,  tegnap  jelentős  lépést  tett  előre. Az érdekelt  egyesületek  ugyanis  elhatározták,  hogy  a  jéghokkisportnak a  MOKSz útján  történő  szövetségi vezetéséről    tárgyalást  kezdenek Temple  Rezső  dr.-ral,  a  korcsolyázó  szövetség  elnökével.
A tegnap  tartott  értekezletre  a következő  egyesületek  küldték  el képviselőiket  a  BBTE  választmányi  termébe: BKE:  Lator Géza dr. és  Minder Frigyes, FTC: Mai- linger  Béla  és Holtzer  Béla, BLKE:  Neuhold  József, AHC:
Tolnay    Antal, Nobel    József, MAFC:   Enyedy  Ferenc, EHC:
BBTE.
Az  értekezlet  egyébként  teljesen síma  lefolyású  volt.  A  társegyesületek  a  legnagyobb  mértékben  respektálták  a BKE-nek  a jégsportokban  elfoglalt  különleges  helyzetét,  a BKE  pedig teljes  lojalitással méltányolta a magyar  jéghokki- sport  további  fejlesztését  célzó szövetségi  mozgalmat,  örömmel  regisztráljuk  ezt a mindkét  oldalról megnyilatkozó  jóindulatot,  mert hiszen  a  jéghokkisport  ' tényleges érdekeit  szolgáló  (szövetségi  akció másként,  mint  kölcsönös  megértéssel  és  őszinte  jóindulattal, tényleges  eredményeket  nem  produkálhat.
