"However, the clubs in Serie C have fallen behind in terms of games, as the start of the championship coincided with the sudden change in the weather on January 7th, accompanied by heavy rainfall. However, as only the title of regional champion is awarded in this series and the clubs in the two next series will no longer be using the Dolder facility from the beginning of February, it should still be possible to get this championship completed in time. In three of the four groups, which contain a total of eighteen teams, one team has already competed twice, despite the miserable weather. EHC Weinfelden literally ran over Schaffhausen II and Seuzach and can now hardly be beaten for group victory. Rapperswil's second formation also made little fuss over Küsnacht II and especially Uster/Greifensee II; their path to group victory is, however, somewhat longer because they are part of a group of five and therefore still have two games to play, namely against Grasshoppers II and Dübendorf III. The same applies to EHC Riesbach, which drew in Pfäffikon before winning in Bassersdorf; this team will still face Oerlikon II and ZSC V."[10]

"In the last days of March, the championship of the Serie C Central Switzerland region was brought to a conclusion in the Zurich Hallenstadion. The title went to the fifth team of Zürcher SC."[11]
