==History==
Trade Union Sport Palace originally opened in 1965, and was expanded and renovated in 2007. The arena has been used as the home arena of the Russian [[ice hockey]] team [[Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod]], of the [[Kontinental Hockey League]].  The arena replaced [[Konovalenko Sports Palace]] as the home of the club.
