'''SG Oberstdorf/Sonthofen''' was an ice hockey team formed by the merger of [[EC Oberstdorf]] and [[ERC Sonthofen]]. The clubs played as a combined unit from 1966-1971, when they split and became independent once again due to financial problems.

The club mostly played in the second-tier [[Oberliga]], but did reach the top-flight [[Eishockey-Bundesliga]] for the 1967-68 season. After losing all eight of their games in the Southern group, and placing fifth in the Southern relegation round, they returned to the Oberliga, where they would remain through 1971.
