==Promotion/Relegation==
Esbjerg SK faced [[Gladsaxe SF]], the [[Danish Division 1|2. division]] champions, for the right to play in the 1. division.

Subsequently, the Danish Ice Hockey Union decided to expand the 1. division to five teams, and the open spot went to Esbjerg SK, who thus avoided relegation to the second division. Most of the players from Furesø moved to USG, which was a better organized team with a better training schedule, and therefore Fureso's place in the 1. division was taken over by USG.
