SC Karl-Marx-Stadt was an ice hockey team in Karl-Marx-Stadt (present-day Chemnitz), East Germany. They were a member of the sports club of the same name.

The club, originally known as SC Motor Karl-Marx-Stadt, initially played in the East German 1. Liga from 1957-1960. They qualified for the DDR-Oberliga in 1960-61, but were promptly relegated back to the 1. Liga after only one season in the league.

In 1963 they merged with SC Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt, and changed their name to SC Karl-Marx-Stadt. They then took over the spot in the Oberliga formerly held by Wismut, and played in the league for six consecutive years from 1963-1969.

They were originally slated to participate in the 1969-70 Oberliga season, but withdrew before it started. The hockey club then dissolved.
