IHC Písek is an ice hockey team in Písek, Czech Republic. They play in the Czech 2.liga, the third level of ice hockey in the Czech Republic.

History

The club was founded in 1990 by the merger of VTJ Písek, and Jitex Písek. They were promoted to the Czech 1.liga for the 1995 season, following winning the Czech 2.liga in 1994.

In 1994, the club advanced to the Czech 1.liga, where they played until 2005. In the 2004-05 season, Pisek was relegated to Czech 2.liga.

In the 2009-10 season, they were promoted to the Czech 1.liga after 5 years. Pisek was set to be relegated again after 2010-11, but bought a license for the 1st league from HC Vrchlabí. After 2012-13, they dropped down to the Czech Regional Championships, but were promoted to the 2.liga for 2015-16.
