HC Château-d’Œx
HC Château-d’Œx is an ice hockey team in Château-d’Œx, Switzerland. Founded in 1919, the club currently plays in the fourth-level Swiss 2.Liga.
Immediately after foundation, the club joined the Swiss National Championship. They frequently competed in the national championship from 1918-19 through the 1936-37 season.
They also played in the Swiss International Championship in most years from 1919 to 1933. Château-d’Œx won the International title twice: in 1922 and 1924.
After the reorganization of the Swiss hockey system and the foundation of the Nationalliga A, the club has played exclusively in the lower-level leagues. Château-d’Œx won the second-level Swiss Serie A in 1947.
The club merged with HC Gstaad in 1966 and played under the name HC Château-d’Œx-Gstaad until the merger broke up in 1997.
